Venicia Sandria Rasmussen

"La Future Diva.." An enchanting recital with soprano Venicia Rasmussen. She was absolutely perfect in the title role of Tosca and her extremely expressive voice was wonderful in Puccini’s most famous opera excerpts. The Italian repertoire with Rossini and Puccini is handwritten for Venicia.

A talent like Ms. Rasmussen can indeed be described as absolutely exceptional, unusual and rare. Vocally absolutely outstanding, stylistically astonishingly versatile, intuitive musicality and linguistic talent. In addition, essential for the stage, there is an innate theatrical, acting talent, enormous joy in playing, and, the rare gift that cannot be taught, a distinct and unmistakable personality, both artistic and human.

For example, there is Venicia Rasmussen as the ambitious Poppea: her soprano is pure temptation, her lustful sighs are wonderful, and she underlines the entire artificiality of the character with appropriate gestures that are closely aligned with the music.

Ms. Rasmussen impresses with her outstanding voice, with which she can master even the highest tones with clarity and without effort. She is certainly one of the best in her field.
